Our grants are focused in three areas: access to educational opportunities, support for disadvantaged young children, and enhancement of the quality of life for our senior population.
By supporting access to educational opportunities, our Trustees see
the greatest impact in improving individuals’ lives. Most of our
funding in this area occurs through our scholarship programs and our
Student Assistance Fund program, although occasionally grants are
made outside of these programs.
Support for disadvantaged young children often overlaps with our
educational focus by providing funds to schools and other programs
that seek to improve the quality of life for these children.
Our third area of funding is directed to our senior population, with
grants that support both basic needs and quality of life. Of
particular interest are programs that combat the loneliness and
isolation that is so much a part of life for many members of this
population.
